Does the program as well as the music files need to be on the same computer ?

Yes. You cannot have AmpJuke on one server (ie. your ISP-server) and music on another (ie. your home computer).

Furthermore, it's rather important that if/when you run AmpJuke on Windows, you must keep the music tracks on the same logical drive as your document-root is (f.ex.: you cannot have www-files on drive C: and music tracks on drive D:).

However, this might change in the future...
