How do I get rid of duplicate entries in favorite lists ?
You might have favorite lists that contain a 'high' number of tracks. (Personally I have favorite lists that contain more than 1000 tracks).
It might be a tedious and timeconsuming task to handle such huge favorite lists, if you want to make sure that a particular track is only found once in a given favorite list...
Fortunately, AmpJuke offers some help in relation to this !
Basically, you have two options to get rid of duplicate entries in any given favorite list, as follows:
Click Remove duplicate entries
This can be done when found necessary.
Every time you display one of your favorite lists, you're offered an option to get rid of duplicate entries.
The second option is a personal setting.
If you check "Avoid duplicate entries" in your personal settings, AmpJuke will check that the track(s) you're trying to add to a specific favorite list isn't already present (in the list).
The check happens before adding tracks to a given favorite list.
So you can decide to either add "as usual": Adding tracks to lists without checking and then - perhaps - click on "Remove duplicate entries".
Or you can check "Avoid duplicate entries" in your personal settings, and then a given track will not be added to a given favorite list if it's already there.
By the way: The "Avoid duplicate entries" setting happens to work on the queue as well.
