My box:

On what equipment does it run ? How many songs do you have ? Did you have to tweak anything in order to get the program up&running ?
Leave some feedback here.

IBM Netvista 8307, 512MB RAM, 250GB HD.

The box is running Linux Mint, a derivative of the ever-so-popular Ubuntu.
I used to be a "Red Hat / Fedora kind of guy", but the Mint was really easy to get running, it found all my "other" devices (f.ex. the webcam) right away, so I'll stick with this for now.

I'm also running Apache (2.2.3), MySQL (5.0.37), PHP (5.2.1) and - obviously - AmpJuke (always latest version...).

Since I'm the inventor/developer of AmpJuke, I didn't have any real concerns getting the goddamned script up&running

3 months without ampjuke... a terrible experience.
I had my modem changed to wireless one... and they gave me one which had problem with firmwire which resulted in inability to forward ports!
Finally I got the new, working modem, and now I can listen to my music where ever I am.

I've "installed" ampjuke on my homeserver two days ago.

Ubuntu 10.04.1 LTS, Server Version, 2 GB Ram, Intel Dual Core E2220 @ 2,40 GHz

Installation and Scan of 6K Music Files was done via remote in half an hour over my tiny DSL-Line ;)

An now I can finally enjoy my music while at work. :)
