Error reading: album/

Finished checking folders. A total of 0 folders was checked.
Cannot read from one or more folders (see above).
This is most likely because your web-user doesn't have permission to read from the folders listed (with an error) above.

Hello AnimeR,

Welcome to the AmpJuke forum and thanks for posting.

Based on your post, I think your problems are related to two different sources:
1. I'm assuming you're installing on an ISP-server: It seems like your Internet Service Provider (ISP) has disabled the option to modify set_time_limit witihn in a PHP-script.
This prevents PHP-scripts to run for more than whatever is configured for the server (it is normally/default 30 seconds), and there's no way to adjust it yourself.
What's worse: If you have a large music-collection, and the scanning cannot complete within 30 seconds, you might not get your entire music-collection imported in one step.
You can, however, upload, scan the upload, upload, scan the upload and so on...

2. The setting for "Base directory where your music files are located" is wrong.
Remember to use an absolute path (entire path to "album" folder) for this.
If you're installing on an ISP-system, it might be something like:
/var/www/web3425/web/album or perhaps:
/var/www/web3425/album
...see this step from the installation example.

Hope this makes sense and enables you to move forward.
If not, please update this thread again.

//Michael.
